I encourage you to remain faithful to your devotional practices and meditation. Simply through daily silent prayerfulness, which is loving openness to Grace, you will discover your body, thoughts, words, and deeds become more those of a loving Christ, a compassionate Buddha. You will find Grace being given through your life, but such giving will become freer, more spontaneous, and more clear from selfish efforts and self-referenced motives. You will see, more and more, that the other person is not the other, but, rather, that person of possibly a different race or religion or ethnicity is your brother and sister, your father and mother, your neighbor, and your friend, yes, your self. Grace will grace through you, and beautifully, kindly, and with generous dignity. You will become stronger because of this Love, not weaker. So, set aside time daily to sit in Prayerful Silence, and sense the sensitivity and wakefulness of your Heart. Then, take that into the rest of your day. The world needs you to be awake, to be living in Love consciously.
